A little about our Dentists...
At Simon Dental we are fortunate to have three dentists on staff, Dr. Mark Simon, Dr. Leslie Linsday and Dr. Monica Pizzardi. We are also very fortunate to have an anesthesiologist, Dr. Gary Simon.

Dr. Mark Simon
Dr. Simon grew up and received his early education in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. He graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor Of Science Degree and his Dental Degree in 1990.
Dr. Simon opened his first practice in Newmarket in 1991. Eight years later he opened the much larger and professionally designed Simon Dental Centre. This new facility allows for all services and facets of family, cosmetic and specialty dentistry. In past, Dr. Simon was an instructor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry and had privleges with the Department of Surgery at York Central Hospital where he spent one day a month assisting major Oral Maxillofacial Surgery including jaw fracture, jaw reconstruction and correction of dental facial deformities.
Dr. Simon is also active in the community associated with charity fundraisers and sponsors a number of sports teams.

Dr. Leslie Lindsay
Dr. Lindsay was born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick. She attended the University of New Brunswick where she received her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Chemistry.
Dr. Lindsay went on to attend the University of Western Ontario where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1992. Dr. Lindsay and her family have lived in the community in which they work for over ten years. She looks forward to meeting both new and existing patients of the Simon Dental Centre.

Dr. Monica Pizzardi
Dr. Monica attended York University for her undergraduate studies and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Monica’s goal is to provide exceptional dental treatment, while allowing her patients to enjoy their time in the dental chair.
Outside of Dentistry, Dr. Monica enjoys spending time outdoors, and cooking classic Italian meals with her family. She is in the process of creating a cookbook to capture all of her family recipes to pass down to generations to come. Dr. Monica looks forward to spending time in the lovely community of Newmarket, and working together with the patients of Simon Dental Centre.

Dr. Gary Simon, MD FRCPC
Dr. Gary is our anesthesiologist. He graduated from Dalhousie Medical School in Halifax. He subsequently did his specialty training in anesthesiology in Edmonton at the University of Alberta. Currently, he is in active practice at London Health Sciences Centre in London, Ontario.
Dr. Gary has offered his services as Simon Dental's anesthesiologist since 1996. It has successfully enabled adults and children to receive their required treatment.
